problems to the curtains (left wrinkled, do not

Exakta VX IIa V3
This camera was for the US
market. The preceding batch (around
#900000) is wellknown as the
version 4
with the inscription IIA
under the Exakta logo. This camera
is in very fine condition, works even if
the curtains do not close completely when

Exakta IIA (RARE V4)
Exakta II A, #900772,
version 4. This camera is the rare
version 4 of the Exakta VX IIa. The front plate
was hammered under the
embossed inscription “Varex IIa”, then was
resilvered and then engraved.
Extremely rare in Europe. Shutter
works, left curtain slow. Nameplate has
dull matte chrome finish. Exakta is
embossed, IIa is engraved with no paint
in the engraving. On the same
pdf page you can find a lot of information about the "IIa" variants.

Exakta VX IIa V5
Exakta IIa, #942275, version
5. This camera was made in 1961, 25
years after the first Kine. In the same year
the striped finders were made to
celebrate the 25th anniversary. It is
the first Exakta with the new design.
VX IIa was engraved on theinside of the body.
This camera is working well.
Cosmetically very fine except for a
discoloration on the black label, near the
first A

Exakta IIa, #943836, version
6. You can easily identify this camera
because of the engraving on the top and the
front plate without Varex IIa or VX IIa
(only Ihagee Dresden). This camera is in
fine condition. On the bottom there is
(rare for this batch) the engraving “USSR OCCUP
Germany” slightly different from the one
on the version 4: ”OCCUPIED GERMANY”

except for the inscription ”Germany USSR
OCCUPIED” on the top, near the engraving

You can easily identify this camera
because of the engraving “VX” under IHAGEE and
“IIa” under DRESDEN on the front plate. The
camera is in very nice condition (except the
left curtain, slightly wrinkled. Works well.

Exakta Varex IIa, #949627,
version 8. This camera is the only IIa
where you can read (on the right hand of the
front plate) the inscription “Varex”.
Bought by Wallace Heaton, Bond Street,
London, the Editor of the Blue Book
(nice sticker on the back door). Camera in
fine condition except for some black
pain wear on the back, under the reload lever.
